Favouriting Items
Want to create a personal collection of your most important lessons, articles, or word lists? Use the Favourite feature! Think of it as creating your own learning hub inside Fluentspeak, giving you quick access to the exact content you want to focus on.
The favourite icon works like a toggle. Click it once to add an item to your Favourites, and click it again to remove it.
Ready to Favourite
This grey button means the item is not yet saved in your Favourites. Click it to add it.
Item is a Favourite!
This pink button shows the item is already saved. The text changes to "Unfavourite" — click it again to remove the item.
Where to Find the Favourite Button
In the top right-hand corner of any item page, you'll find the Item Browser Bar.
This special toolbar is designed to stay fixed on your screen as you scroll down through the content, so its functions —like Favouriting— are always just a click away.
To add an item, click the grey button. To remove a saved item, click the pink
button. The button's color, icon, and text will change instantly to confirm the action and show the new status.
When you add an item, you'll receive two forms of immediate feedback:
- The Favourite button will change to its active, pink "Unfavourite" state.
- A green success notification will briefly appear to confirm the action.
Accessing Your Favourites Page
All your saved items are collected on a dedicated Favourites page. Here's how to get there:
- Open the main Fluentspeak menu using the hamburger icon in the top-left corner.
- From the menu, select the "Favourites" option.
How the Favourites Page Works
The page is split into two main sections to keep things organized:
- Left Side (Categories): This is a list of all the types of content you've favourited (e.g., Articles, Lessons, Word Lists). Click on a category to see all the items of that type you've saved.
- Right Side (Your Saved Items): This area displays your collection! Click on any item here to jump directly to it.
When you click on an item from your Favourites list, the "Browse" button on the Item Browser Bar becomes a shortcut. Clicking it will take you right back to your Favourites page, not the general browse screen. This makes it easy to work through your curated list without getting lost!
By using Favourites, you can build a powerful, personalized study plan. Keep your most important materials just a click away and make your learning sessions more efficient than ever.
